- NBC10 Philadelphia: University of Delaware Engineering students help non-profit dog treat company. Several years ago, Waggies partnered with University of Delaware engineering students and created an easier way to operate scales that are used to weigh out the treats for packaging. The first models were good but now a team of students volunteering in the university’s assistive medical technologies club has made an even better and easier scale.
- USA Today’s “Humankind” column published a story and video about the Waggies Team and how Waggies by Maggie and Friends continues to provide meaningful opportunities for our bakers.
- NBC10 Philadelphia highlighted our newest product line, “Dog Bark”. We’ve partnered with Delaware’s iconic Craft Brewery, Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales, to create dog treats made with spent grains, a still-delicious byproduct of the brewing process. Dog Bark is available at the Dogfish Head brewery in Milton, DE as well as their brewpub in Rehoboth Beach. We’re all very proud to be representing some of what makes Delaware awesome!

- Matt, one of our awesome bakers, spoke to all US State Governors and Canadian Embassy staff in Washington, DC on behalf of Special Olympics International. Way to go, Matt!!!
